Why Superfood Powders Are Better Than Pills

Why Superfood Powders Are Better Than Pills

Do you take a multivitamin every day? Many people do. Staying healthy can be tough, especially in a world filled with low-calorie diets or highly processed convenience foods. But popping pills may not be providing the benefit you think it is.

Millions of people take a multivitamin to supplement their health — even though their effectiveness is questionable at best. So, what’s a better option? Nutrient-dense, whole-food superfood powders.

What Are Superfood Powders

While it may seem like there’s a new popular superfood every month, superfoods are so much more than a fad. In fact, they’ve been around for centuries! Superfoods are defined as “a food that is rich in compounds considered beneficial to a person's health.” Simply put, superfoods are packed with higher amounts of key vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants compared to other foods.

Where does that leave superfood powders? Well, when superfoods like blueberries, goji, kale, spinach, spirulina, mushrooms, raw cacao, spices, and more are dehydrated and finely ground into powders, they maintain all the nutritional goodness of the whole superfood. And in powder form, it’s easier to incorporate superfoods into your daily routine for maximum nutritional benefits.

Below are five reasons why using superfood powders are better than pills when it comes to boosting overall health and wellness. *

5 Reasons Superfood Powders Are Better Than Pills

Superfood powders come from whole foods

High-quality superfood powders start as whole foods and undergo minimal processing to get to their powdered state. This means you’re getting the synergistic benefits of the entire superfood instead of artificial or isolated constituents you’ll often find in many multivitamins.

How do you choose high-quality superfood powders? Look for options that are made from organic, non-GMO, sustainably-sourced ingredients. That way you can feel confident knowing you’re getting a product that supports your health without damaging the earth in the process.

In addition, look for options that blend superfoods in a way that amplify each ingredient’s health benefits. For example, Cacao Bliss is a healthy chocolate alternative made from 10 superfoods, including raw cacao, spices, lucuma, mesquite, and more, that work together to help boost natural energy, promote optimal carbohydrate metabolism, curb cravings, and support healthy blood sugar levels. *

Superfood powders are more absorbable and bioavailable

It’s not uncommon for multivitamins to pass through the body without having any positive impact simply because your body can’t absorb them. Many synthetic vitamins are created using chemical processes and are not as bioavailable (meaning your body isn’t able to use it).

Superfood powders, on the other hand, are whole foods that have been minimally processed. Natural nutrients from fruits and vegetables are concentrated and more bioavailable, meaning your body is more likely to recognize and use these nutrients.

Superfood powders provide more holistic support

With most supplement pills, you either get a single nutrient or a shotgun approach. High-quality superfood powder blends select ingredients that work together to provide targeted vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and co-factor so you can actually feel the difference.

Take Golden Superfood Bliss, for example. This creamy superfood blend combines 12 powerful organic ingredients like turmeric, black pepper, ancient mushrooms, ashwagandha, and other spices to balance stress, reduce cortisol levels, boost immunity, and support restful sleep. You’d be hard pressed to find a pill that does all of that. *

Superfood powders are easier to swallow

The truth is, a lot of people have trouble swallowing pills. Anything from dry mouth to fear of choking can make taking vitamins almost impossible. But superfood powders can be easily added to beverages like water, milk, coffee, or smoothies. You can even add them to snacks, dips, and baked goods, making it easy to get superfoods into your diet every day.

Earth Echo superfood powders just taste better

Meeting your daily nutritional needs can be tough enough as it is. But if you're trying to add in supplements that are chalky, bitter, or leave an unpleasant aftertaste, you’re not likely to stick to it. That’s why we make sure that in addition to providing powerful, nourishing support to your body, our blends also taste incredible.

Island Bliss is the best example of this. While most super green blends taste overly grassy and chalky, Island Bliss blends tasty organic fruits, greens, minerals, and even probiotics and prebiotics in a convenient powder that actually tastes good mixed with just water! It’s a super-tasty way to get more antioxidants, minerals, and phytonutrients into your daily diet. *

The bottom line…

It’s hard to know how well synthetic vitamins are absorbed and used in the body. What we do know is that nutrients are more bioavailable if they come from whole food sources and their compounds.

Since superfood powders come from whole foods, you can feel more confident that your body is actually absorbing and using the superfood goodness to support overall health and wellness.  Plus, they’re delicious and easy to add into your regular diet. It also has given me the energy to clean our house again;for which my husband is glad . I have Chronic Fatigue with Fibromyalgia (ME) , RA, PsA, Spondylosis, Sciatica and haven’t had this much energy and felt this good since I started using it. I’m hooked.
