Optional mixins: toasted coconut, frozen fruit (roughly chopped), chopped nuts
Directions
Prepare the bananas and avocado by peeling the fruit and then slicing them into 1-inch sections or chunks. Spread the fruit in a single layer over a parchment-lined baking sheet and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours.
To make the ice cream, place the frozen banana, frozen avocado, coconut cream, and Island Bliss into a food processor. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
Transfer the ice cream mixture to a freezer-friendly container. Stir in any desired mixins and place the mixture back into the freezer for 2 hours to harden up.
Remove from the freezer and let sit for 15 minutes before serving.
Enjoy that summer feeling all year long by grabbing your Island Bliss here!
Recipe Note
This recipe works best in a food processor but a blender can do in a pinch. You’ll just need to add a bit more coconut cream to get it to blend up before stirring in the mixins.
