If you think you have to kiss your chocolate obsession goodbye in order to live a healthy lifestyle, I’m here with some great news for you: You don’t!
Believe me, I know what it’s like to crave chocolate and that’s why I’m on a never-ending search for great chocolate recipes that are healthy and not full of processed ingredients or white sugars.
These Rich Cacao Bites are one of my family’s favorites and they keep me going when those crushing cravings hit. Since a serving size is 2 balls, it feels like you’re having a “big” treat, not just sneaking a nibble of something outside of your healthy-eating plan. They’re also portable and poppable, so you can take them with you when you’re on the go.
All this and they’re loaded with fiber, free radical-fighting antioxidants, and even healthy inflammation-supporting ingredients! And they taste amazing! *
Give this healthy chocolate snack a try and drop me a comment to let me know what you think. Enjoy!
Rich Cacao Bites Recipe
- Mix all ingredients in a blender. While blending, add some water if needed for a sticky consistency.
- Take out small heaps with a tablespoon. Roll balls with your hands then roll in raw unsweetened coconut.
- Store in the fridge for at least one hour in an open container so excess moisture can escape. These can also be frozen!
