Healthy Slow Cooker Cacao Apple Oatmeal
An easy slow-cooker cacao apple oatmeal recipe that’s comforting, nourishing, healthy, and perfect for feeding the whole family. Plus, leftovers reheat beautifully, making it great for meal prep!
2 cups old fashioned oats
2 apples, peeled & diced
1/4 cup coconut sugar
2 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 scoops Cacao Bliss
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 cups water
2 cups coconut milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
Add all ingredients into the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
Cook on low for 5 hours. Once finished, fluff up with a fork and serve with apple chunks and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
If the oatmeal turns thick, add 1/2 to 1 cup of coconut milk and stir to combine.
I made this last night & just a heads up that if you have a newer crock pot that cooks things faster you might only need 4 hrs. I shut mine off with 20 mins. left & it was a little over cooked on the edges. It’s very delicious & made the house smell wonderful!
