Dark chocolate chips, chopped nuts, unsweetened coconut flakes
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
In a large bowl, combine the coconut flour, Cacao Bliss, baking powder, and Himalayan salt. Mix well and set aside.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, monk fruit sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well, then pour into the dry ingredients. Mix until combined. The batter will be fairly thick.
Divide the batter evenly into a donut pan, pressing the batter into the mold to make it smooth. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before frosting.
While donuts are cooling, make the frosting by combining the coconut milk and Cacao Bliss in a bowl. Whisk together until smooth and completely combined. Dip the cooled donuts in the frosting. Sprinkle with toppings and enjoy!
I made the chocolate donuts but the batter was too dry to spread any where, so I added a cup of water to make it pliable enough to put in the donut pan. Apparently the water didn’t do anything to the donuts because they were still “top of the line” delicious!
I’d love to know the nutritional breakdown of these donuts!
I would love to win the cacao bliss award. Money has been tight and I am almost out. Cacao bliss satisfies my chocolate cravings and tastes delicious.
