So when we learned about Plastic Bank, a globally recognized company that rewards people in underserved areas with "currency" for each bit of plastic waste they collect and turn in before it reaches the ocean, we knew we had to partner with them. 

By participating in Plastic Bank's Plastic Positive program, we're ensuring that we neutralize the plastic footprint created by some of our packaging. That means Plastic Bank’s members recover an amount of ocean-bound plastic equal to what was used to produce the package. 

How it works

Through our monetary donations, we’re investing in the purchase of Social Plastic Collection Credits (SPCC). SPCCs reduce plastic pollution by monetizing waste and making recycling profitable for the world’s most underprivileged communities. 

When members collect plastic and turn it into a Plastic Bank collection site, they’re issued currency which they can then use to buy necessities for themselves and their families. In turn, they help protect Mother Earth from harmful waste.
