Since it’s the middle of winter and we could all probably use a little more sunshine in our lives, we created a mug cake that hits all those warm, tropical notes we long for. And, of course, we included Golden Superfood Bliss because who couldn’t use a little extra support for relieving excess stress and boosting the immune system? Golden Citrus Mug Cake
This Golden Citrus Mug Cake is the perfect healthy mid-winter snack. It's delicious, quick to make, and includes a little extra support for relieving excess stress and boosting the immune system thanks to Golden Superfood Bliss!
3 tablespoons almond flour
1 scoop of Golden Superfood Bliss
1 tablespoon of raw honey or pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon unsweetened nut butter
1 tablespoon sliced almonds
½ tablespoon unsweetened shredded coconut
1 teaspoon orange zest
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 free range egg*
A pinch of salt
Mix all ingredients together in your favorite microwave-safe mug and cook in the microwave in 30-second increments until done to perfection. The texture should be light and cake-like.
Carefully remove the mug from the microwave and enjoy!
